The competition is on Sunday 30 August 2026 at Trident Gymnastics, Ringwood.
A members-only event. The In-House Comp is for gymnasts currently enrolled at Trident — Squad, EduGym & UrbanGym. Not with us yet? Join a class first and you'll be all set for next time.
Why an in-house comp?
Our gymnasts work incredibly hard all year, mastering progressions big and small. A relaxed comp in their own gym is the perfect way to celebrate that — in front of the people who cheer them on every week.

All that hard work deserves something shiny. Every participant receives a Gold, Silver or Bronze Trident medal based on their performance on the day — every single gymnast leaves with a medal around their neck.

Ask Us Frequently asked questions
Does my gymnast have to compete?
Not at all — entering is completely optional. We'd love to celebrate with everyone, but gymnasts who'd rather come along and cheer are always welcome too.
Does my child need to prepare a routine at home?
Nope! Coaches are already introducing routines and circuits in class, designed at a moderate level of difficulty so they're challenging and achievable for everyone.
What if my gymnast forgets their routine on the day?
Not to worry! Our coaches will prompt gymnasts through their routines as needed. This is a low-stress experience, and we'll do everything we can to make it a positive one.
When will my gymnast's session time be confirmed?
Session times are confirmed once entries have closed. Families will be notified via email of their allocated session time.
What should they wear?
A leotard, or a plain white or black t-shirt with navy or black shorts or leggings.
Should we pack anything?
Please pack a water bottle and some nut-free snacks for between rotations, just in case.
Who can enter?
The In-House Competition is for current Trident EduGym and UrbanGym members. Gymnasts compete in the event that matches their weekly class.
Can family come and watch?
Absolutely — the cheering is half the fun! Entry for two family spectators is included with each gymnast's entry. Extra spectator tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the door.
